The North Wall Gallery serves a dual purpose, both as an art gallery with regularly changing exhibitions, and as a foyer for the theatre. The main area measures 9.95m x 4.8m, but there are also two side corridors each measuring 3m x 4.8m. There is also an Upper Gallery which is sometimes used, depending on the scale of exhibition programmed.
The gallery is programmed by Peter Lloyd-Jones , who currently works as Head of Art at St Edward’s School. Peter graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 1983, where he won three scholarships for oil painting.
Artists who wish to exhibit their work in the Gallery are asked, in the first instance, to submit an application to the General Manager, who can be contacted on 01865 319457 or by email at perkins@thenorthwall.com for further details.
